The Art of Reflection

Reflection Art

This is a picture about reflection of an object in water at a place in Geist where we
walk. I thought it was cool how the dock reflected in the water and again I love snow,
because it makes a better picture. This image gives you stillness and peace. It makes you
appreciate how beautiful God made nature. I like shooting pictures it gives me joy
and the stillness and details are neat. I had just enough natural light to see reflections.
I liked how the image shows the ripples in the water and how you can almost feel it.
These photos are my favorite places and I wanted to do something no one else would.
The reflection technique in water with a neat background that captures it all.

The Art of Reflection

Relection

I chose this for my reflection photo, because this is one of my favorite places to go.
I feel this jumps out at you because the grounds are so neat and the snow looked really cool.
I thought it would be neat to see reflection of the grounds in the water. When I took this picture I see
a beautiful, peaceful scene. This scene is is behind Joe's Crab Shack. We go there in the summer and we love
eating outside and looking at the lake. We thought about this scene when I was trying to decide where to take
my reflection photo. I used the one-third rule on where I wanted to zoom in. I really like this picture
it makes you see how neat winter is outside. Winter scenes make great shots!

Sharing and having fun at Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving Fun

Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday, because everyone is home and we do different things together.
I love holiday time, because we can spend time together just taking a little break. We all work hard so
its fun to see each other. These were my favorite photos starting at left this is a picture of Rachel and
Olivia. They are cousins, of course, and they were feeding the dog and drawing their favorite pictures.
We had a lot of fun things going on for all of us. The next picture is Dave and Jake playing ping pong.
Dave is my brother and Jake, my cousin. The ping pong matches are the most exciting. I love playing
ping pong. The third picture is Dave's wife, Rachel. In this picture we were all sitting down talking
after eating. This is the time when we talk about what were up to and how we are all doing. Everyone
talks about things and how they are doing. We learn and help each other. We don't forget to laugh
and kick back to. This year our parents encouraged us and we talked about what we were thankful
for. My mom started this tradition so we would be grateful and have joy while we all work hard at
what were doing. Some of us older kids help the younger ones draw and play games. The last picture
is a tradition Rachel and mom started where we all go together to get our trees. We had a lot of fun.
We lost each other looking and my brother started playing marco-polo to find us. We bring hot
chocolate and dress warm so we can find the perfect tree. The guys love that ha ha!
So, these are my favorite pictures, because it shows us that Jesus wants us to take that time to
spend time and have those fun breaks with our family. My family is very close, because we feel
family is our gift from God. I'm so thankful for my mom and dad, because they have showed us
that being a family and loving and helping each other is very important. We encourage each other
to do well and work hard. So, can you guess what I was thankful for? Your right my awesome brothers,
all my cousins, and my mom and dad. Hope you had a fun time with family and were thankful you
got to be together! Now, at Christmas we like to do community service to help other people. We are planning what we will do now. This is my Thanksgiving story! Love Sarah
